It's been about 4 months since I published the Pinkmatch demo here on Itch....

Wowie.  After being contractually full-time at my day job, it feels like I've been gone forever.  

Thank you for trying out the game! 

I wasn't expecting to hit more than 200 downloads.... 

I didn't know what to expect at all, really, and I was deathly terrified of posting the game (mortifying ordeal of being known and all). But I've gotten some delightful comments and reassurance that I was able to make you guys' days just a bit brighter. And that's all I want, really.  ❤ 

I hope I get the chance to make you laugh again soon!

Ah jeez, let's see. In late January I'll be participating in a 2-day Global Game Jam with a friend. I'll be signing up for that here in a couple of days.

There's NaNoRenO 2020 in March... I'd like to submit the continuation (and hopeful completion) of Pinkmatch to that (and I'll have to use #intrenaimo on my submission). Buuuut I'll be out of the country for a week of March, so I'm not sure I can participate properly. ;_;  I'm a sour perfectionist, so if I join the jam, I probably won't be able to relax on my vacation. Haha.

Obviously I need to finish writing and coding the scenes for Angelo and Sanga, but I also wanted to introduce a third love interest as well.  

However, I only want to work on Pinkmatch during game jams. If you have any jams that would be a good fit for a humble android dating sim, let me know!

Right now I'm participating in Naniwrimo, but in a deeply selfish way that favors me and my interests only. I'm not writing a book. I'm writing uh... a stream of consciousness diary, in which I occasionally also make progress on my Super Secret Personal Project™.  

It's another themed dating sim that I've been working on since 2017, and I've distributed two alpha tests so far with generally positive reception. 

I'm hoping to complete a beta demo by March! ❤

But just because I complete it by March, doesn't mean I'll release it in March.... There's a whole lot of prep work that goes into releasing a game, you know??
